What's this?

I found this in an old book in the library, most of the pages were ripped out and the cover was illegible. Does anyone know what this could be?

v 1546 ~ Lord Rex Vane 1st finds a huge mountain on a great plain surrounded by more mountains and builds a watchtower on it to store his books so his father (the king of England) would not curse him for his intellect.
v 1548 ~ The king dies and Lord Rex is made the new king. He is given the godly title REX TREMENDE (King Tremendous). The new king moves from London to his watchtower on the mountain. He also moves the seat of government from Greenwich to his desolate mountain folly.
v 1549 ~ Migration fills the watchtower and people start to build replica London terraces on the east slope of the watchtowers mount. The king takes out an hour everyday to educate the local populace of what has been dubbed London II (pronounced London the second).
v 1560 ~ After ten years of migration London II has become a town with its own pub and cemetery, still mostly on the eastern slope. Intellectuals and artists flock from all over Britain to immerse themselves in Rex Tremendes’ collection of books. The first Library is built that year after the watchtower becomes “clogged up”.
